Hey,

I took a quick look at your flick photos (after the topic was locked). It seems you have some nice ideas there. I wouldn't classify them as snapshots, but I think you have still things to learn naturally.

If you're interested in improving your skills in photography, I would recommend learning the basic technical stuff about photography. This probably would give you nice start and improve the technical quality of your photos. For example, for our still-life photos you should consider the lighting and background, while the idea was nice.

After you have learn the basics, it's good idea to see some photos that you like in categories where you photograph. Try to think what actually makes them that good and after that, try to apply that knowledge to your own works.

I also have written few articles (submitted as news here), so if you're interested, you might want to check them out too.

But anything can be learned, so if you'll work hard enough, you probably could make it something more serious. Just try to figure out what actually makes those really amazing photos to stand out and work towards that goal.
